Data Collection
Health data collected includes:
Individual health conditions, treatment, diseases, or diagnosis;
Social, psychological, behavioral, and medical interventions;
Surgeries and procedures;
Use or purchase of prescribed medication;
Bodily functions vitals, and measurements of health information;
Diagnoses and diagnostic testing, treatment, or medication;
Gender-affirming care information;
Reproductive or sexual health information;
Biometric data;
Data that identifies you seeking health care services; and
Inferences of the above categories of health data derived or extrapolated from non-health information.The app also collects or creates aggregated, anonymous, or de-identified data that is not considered personal information and is thus not subject to this privacy policy.
This data is collected via direct user input, your mobile device, third-party apps and services you have integrated into your Headspace account, and your other health and wellness providers.
Data Sharing
Data is disclosed to service providers, third-party integrations, community activity through social engagement, Benefit Sponsors (including the last time you used the platform, although they "generally" restrict details of services like whether the user has accessed therapy), third-party business partners for marketing, payment, affiliate care providers, and more.
Privacy Rights
You can exercise your data privacy rights and make request about your personal information by emailing help@headspace.com.
Users may be subject to a fee for processing requests if they are considered "excessive, repetitive, or clearly unfounded," in which case the user will be told why and provide a cost estimate. Additionally, users' rights are "not absolute, and and exceptions may apply."
