Data Collection

Information Calm infers and generates when you use the service include the user ID associated with your account and derived information such as IP address and “educated guesses about your gender or age” and information to “help determine the likelihood of you continuing to use the Services in the future.”

Information collected by other sources including transaction, calendar, social media, third party health app, cookie, and other public data including from websites and online services you use, consumer research platforms, and/or business contact databases.

Data Sharing

Your information may be shared with third parties that Calm uses for business operations including customer support, subscription and order fulfillment, data analytics, fraud prevention, cloud storage, and payment; third parties with whom you consent to share your information including social media services and academic researchers; and government entities or other third parties for legal reasons.

Privacy Rights

You have the right to know more information that Calm has about you; access information that they have about you; correct information; opt out of sales, ads, and sharing; and delete information about you. Calm does not currently engage in processing that gives rise to opt-out rights of similar personal data processing or profiling for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Even when you request to delete your information, certain information is retained when required or permitted by law. You can exercise these rights by emailing us at support@calm.com or by submitting the request on our website at calm.com/contact.
