Ovia Fertility, the fertility-focused period-tracking app developed by holistic family planning company Ovia Health, offers features which track fertility-focused personal reproductive data and provides resources to support users in their fertility journeys.

Data Collection
Ovia’s apps collect personal identifiers such as name, email, address, device identifiers, and more; general personal information including health related to fertility, pregnancy, menstruation, and sexual health that users input into the app; legally protected classifications such as race, gender, disability or pregnancy status,; purchase histories or interests; biometrics; geolocation; audio and visual information; professional and employment related information; and sensitive information including racial and ethnic origin, health information, and sex life and sexual orientation information.
Such data is collected from direct input, wearables synched by users, coaching services and recommendations, for Ovia+ customers, employers, employer health plans, and providers, your mobile devices, surveys and promotions, friend referrals, and financial institutions and payment processors if you participate in Ovia Wallet.
Data Sharing
Your data is shared with a number of parties including third-party service providers and contractors working on Ovia’s behalf for operations, with employers for Ovia+ customers, with sponsors of giveaways, with advertising and ad tech providers, with analytics providers, with social media platforms and networks to measure the effectiveness of advertising, with people you invite, with you and your requested followers, and with affiliates and successors such as Ovia’s parent company Labcorp.
Third parties to whom Ovia discloses personal information include Google, third-party advertising platforms like Pinterest and TikTok, adtech vendors, and Ovia’s marketing analytics vendor Alchemer.
Data Security
Ovia’s principal database is hosted by AWS, which maintains multiple security certifications. Users will be notified of security incidents as required by law.
Privacy Rights
You can correct your data, opt out of marketing emails and push notifications, out of collecting and sharing personal health data, opt out of the sale or sharing of your data, opt out of the use of your sensitive data for personalization of advertising, delete your data, obtain a copy of your data, obtain a summary statement of Ovia’s data processing, withdraw your consent to Ovia’s data processing by deleting your data, for for non-US users manage your cookies and opt out of personalized advertising.
