Peloton Guide is fitness empire Peloton’s AI-powered personal trainer. Compatible with the rest of Peloton’s machinery and existing classes, Peloton Guide promises to personalize users’ strength training. As is true of any AI-based tech, we encourage you to understand what kinds of data are collected, used, and shared by the tool.

Privacy Policy

Data Collection

The personal information collected by Peloton includes user-provided data like identifying, geological, profile, contact, and payment information. It also collects your running route (if enabled); physical characteristics (including photographs, video and/or CCTV) if you participate in live studio classes, your voice, and your workout characteristics; connected devices; user-generated content on its social media-esque platform, and more from contact with the Peloton team.

It also automatically collects contact information, information generated through use of the services like your class activity, fitness data — excluding health or medical information except for some information classified as health data like pregnancy- or mood-related workouts, inferences about your workout algorithm, information from your device, and location.

From other sources, it collects third party information that users have made public via your privacy settings, device and IP address information, and other sources such as through marketing, publicly available sources, partners that collect information from collected devices, and financial sources to provide rental and other sources to users.

Data Sharing

Peloton may disclose your data with group companies, service providers, third party apps that you like to your Peloton account, other users of Peloton services, and potential buyers (and their agents and advisors).

Privacy Rights

Within limitations not specifically outlined by the privacy policy, users are entitled to request access to, correction of, transfer of, restriction of, and deletion of personal date. These rights can be exercised through “Do Not Track” privacy preferences in the Peloton app or through request via Peloton’s Privacy Request Form or privacy@onepeloton.com.
